They're roomier and softer than the ones our little guy has used for the first 12 months. No leakage thus far. We decided early on to spend extra money on the cloth prefolds and look for less on the covers. Although I don't have a comparison, I think it was a good decision. I wish the snaps matched instead of being white, and larger/better placed laundry tabs would be nice, but overall, they are great covers at a great price. I like the fit of this, as it fully covers even my Mother-ease one size diapers, which can be large. The gussets on the legs do well, haven't had any leaks after two weeks of constant use. I have the hook and loop closure, and my only wish is that the laundry tabs were a little bigger so I didn't have to be so exact in lining up the tabs to avoid them catching on other laundry.
