Batik is ancient art of applying wax to fabric to resist dye; it has become a great art form on the Indonesian islands. The wax is applied to the fabric with a pen or stamp. Once applied, the fabric is immersed in dye. The areas with wax resist the dye. Wax is then removed from the fabric by boiling. The process can be repeated over and over until desired pattern is achieved.

Washing Instructions
Machine wash cool or warm water. Tumble dry or hang dry. Do not bleach. Dark colors should be washed with like colors.
